The Apparel & Textile ITO (ATITO) has legislative responsibility to work in partnership with five industry sectors, three of which consist of light manufacturing industries: Apparel (clothing, knitwear) Textiles (yarn & carpet manufacture), and footwear Manufacturing and two service industries: Dry Cleaning and Laundry, to develop National Qualifications that are well matched to employer's current and future skill needs. Working in partnership with our industry sectors, the ITO has developed a unique range of national qualifications, including qualifications for skilled operators (cadetships); technicians; supervisory management and competitive manufacturing.
