The products, designed and tested by Davey Hughes, are targeted at the upper end of the market and are designed to be highly functional, durable and comfortable. To date all products are NZ made both in the Levin factory and also in four other local contracting manufacturers. Swazi is now one of the largest onshore manufacturers of performance outdoor gear in Australiasia and is one of the last to have a licence to manufacture Gore Tex. The company has invested heavily in developing its brand which is based around quality (wife a lifetime guarantee on workmanship) and functionality. The "Made in New Zealand" tag together with the Swazi brand and the Davey Hughes personality are leading to increased demand both in NZ and internationally. The full Swazi product range of standard clothing can be seen in the annually produced Swazi catalogue. It covers the outer layer with Gore Tex and Windstopper apparel, the midlayer with heavy fleece, the inner layer with micro fleece products together with a range of accessories. In the corporate sector Swazi currently supply such organisations as: NZ Army, NZ Search and Rescue, NZ Urban Search and Rescue, St Johns Ambulance, NZ Police, NZ Ministry of Fisheries, NZ Ministry of Customs, NZ Dept. of Conservation, Regional Councils.
