Hello!
Well Elizabeth Tennet advised everyone in the last Textiles NewZ that I would be taking over from her. All I can say is WOW! Thank you for the welcome and what an exciting industry! I'm really looking forward to working with our members.
For a little background, I spent many years in Business Development, including Succession and Exit Strategy Planning and from the other end, Seed and Startup Funding.

Developments
Well there are been a few changes and improvements.
Our new website has been launched http://www.textilesnz.org.nz have a look through when you have a chance. For those on LinkedIn, we have a new Professionals Network for Textiles NZ Members. This provides a forum for news updates, placing job advertisements, asking specific questions (technical or business) and a myriad of other things. I'd encourage all members to signup... besides there are no costs and you only stand to benefit.
