ATITO
Carding Technician programme
The Apparel and Textile ITO (ATITO) has begun another intake of the carding technician programme are accepting enrolments now.  Carding is a highly specialised role within the yarn manufacturing industry, said Mike Gorinski, Chief Executive of the Apparel and Textile ITO (ATITO).

“It requires spinning companies in New Zealand to develop the talent of technicians on the job, using specialist trainers.  The ATITO is again very fortunate to have a world renowned expert, Alan Brydon, available to deliver this very valuable training,” says Mike.

The dates for the Stage 1 Block Course are Mondays 5 & 12 March 2012.  Stage 2 Block Courses will be held at a similar date in 2013.  Trainees who complete the carding technician programme will gain the New Zealand Diploma in Textiles Manufacture (Carding Technician) Level 5.

If you would like more information or have any employees you would like to enrol into this programme, please contact Robert Larsen, Training Advisor on 021 871 743

The New Zealand School of Export (NZSOE) is registered to accept NZTE Capability Development Vouchers, meaning that eligible companies can get 50% off various services such as the intensive Exporter Health Check (full cost $4500 +GST) which is ideal for any company who needs a short, sharp comprehensive look at how it exports and what it can do better.

In addition, the flagship programme continues to be the Diploma of International Trade, a 12-month distance education programme which takes you step-by-step into planning export growth in your own company (full cost $9280 plus GST payable in eight module instalments) and which leads to the Global Trade Professional (GTP) designation.
Our exporters are more than happy to endorse all our programmes – have a look at what they have to say at: http://www.export.ac.nz/endorsements.html
