Elizabeth has had a very interesting career as a former Trade Union Official, Member of Parliament, tourism business owner/operator, farmer and government official with New Zealand Trade and Enterprise. She has served on many boards and committees, including as a Director of Tourism New Zealand. She has worked extensively with the New Zealand textiles sector providing export assistance.
Elizabeth loves the great outdoors hiking and biking, gardening, farming and conservation preservation. She is an avid follower of international affairs and a music fan. She is married to John and they have a twenty-one year old son.
